By creating an account or using Specteron, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
About Specteron and contact
Specteron is an online project available at specteron.com that provides tools for building and operating AI chatbots, website widgets, knowledge bases, conversation workflows, leads and related support functions.
The project is operated by Bartosz Plichta as a natural person before registration of a separate business entity. Specteron is not described in these Terms as a registered company, partnership or sole proprietorship.
General, legal and support enquiries may be sent to [email protected]. No separate Data Protection Officer has been appointed.
Who may create an account
An account may be created by an individual or by a person acting for an organisation. You must provide accurate information and have the legal capacity, authority or any consent required under the law that applies to you. Specteron does not impose a fixed 18+ rule.
-
01
Keep your login details confidential and use reasonable account security measures.
-
02
Do not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or account roles.
-
03
Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
-
04
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible.
Plans, trial and service limits
Specteron offers a free plan, paid plans and, where shown in the product, a 7-day trial. Current prices, billing periods, included features and limits are displayed on the pricing page, during checkout or in the account panel.
Plan limits may include messages, bots, knowledge-base capacity, file or URL sources, seats, storage, integrations, API usage or other resources. Features and limits may change for future billing periods. Material changes affecting an active paid plan will be communicated where required.
A trial is intended to evaluate the service. The checkout or panel will indicate whether payment details are required and what happens when the trial ends.
Payments, cancellation and refunds
Card payments and subscription billing are processed by Stripe. Specteron receives information such as payment status, plan, subscription, and Stripe customer or transaction identifiers, but does not independently store full card details.
-
01
You authorise the charges clearly presented during checkout and any recurring charges for the selected subscription until cancellation.
-
02
You may cancel a subscription yourself through the available account or billing controls. Cancellation normally prevents a future renewal; the panel or checkout information determines the exact end of access.
-
03
Taxes, invoice data and currency treatment may depend on the information provided at checkout and applicable law.
-
04
Refund requests are assessed individually under these Terms, mandatory law and the payment rules applicable to the transaction. There is no unconditional promise of a refund. Contact [email protected] with the relevant payment details.
Consumers retain any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, conformity and refund rights that apply to their purchase. Nothing in these Terms removes those rights.
AI features and OpenAI
Specteron uses the OpenAI API to generate AI responses and provide related functions. Messages, prompts, bot configuration and relevant excerpts from Knowledge Base content may be sent to OpenAI to produce an output.
-
01
AI output can be incomplete, incorrect, outdated or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
-
02
Test your bot, sources, prompts, handoff rules and safety settings before publishing it.
-
03
Do not treat AI output as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice.
-
04
Do not upload sensitive data, trade secrets or data you are not allowed to process unless it is necessary, lawful and appropriately protected.
Specteron does not guarantee a particular business result, number of leads, sales volume, response accuracy or uninterrupted automation.
Your content and Knowledge Base
You retain responsibility for files, URLs, prompts, messages, forms, bot instructions and other content that you upload or configure. You must have the necessary rights and a lawful basis to use that content.
-
01
Keep Knowledge Base information accurate and remove outdated or unlawfully obtained material.
-
02
Do not upload content that infringes copyright, confidentiality, privacy or other rights.
-
03
Configure access, retention, bot behaviour and human handoff in a way appropriate to your use case.
-
04
You grant Specteron a limited right to process your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service.
Widgets, visitors and your privacy duties
If you place a Specteron widget on your website, you are responsible for your implementation and bot configuration. In a typical scenario, you are the controller of your visitors’ personal data and Specteron processes that data to provide the tool. The exact roles can depend on your configuration and legal context.
-
01
Tell visitors that a chatbot is used and explain the relevant processing in your own privacy notice.
-
02
Have an appropriate legal basis for messages, forms, leads and other personal data collected through the widget.
-
03
Collect only data that is necessary for your stated purpose and honour visitors’ rights.
-
04
Do not configure the bot to mislead visitors about whether they are speaking with AI or a person.
Acceptable Use
You must use Specteron lawfully and in a way that does not harm people, systems or the service. The following uses are prohibited:
-
01
Illegal content or activity, fraud, phishing, impersonation, spam or deceptive lead collection.
-
02
Hate, credible threats, promotion of violence, illegal weapons activity or exploitation of minors.
-
03
Malware, credential theft, unauthorised security testing, bypassing controls or interference with systems.
-
04
Unlawful surveillance, harmful profiling, privacy violations or collecting data without a lawful basis.
-
05
Copyright or other intellectual-property infringement and disclosure of confidential material without authority.
-
06
Using AI output as a substitute for qualified medical, financial or legal advice, or making high-impact decisions without appropriate human review.
-
07
Attempts to exceed plan limits, resell unauthorised access, overload the service or use it to develop or operate a competing abusive service.
We may investigate suspected abuse and restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties or the service, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to explain.
Security and service operation
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures. Passwords are stored in hashed form. No online system is completely secure, and absolute security or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The service may be changed, maintained or temporarily unavailable because of updates, faults, provider outages, security incidents or events outside reasonable control. We aim to limit disruption and communicate material incidents where appropriate.
Intellectual property
The Specteron software, interface, branding and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your plan gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active and compliant with these Terms.
You keep rights in your own content. Feedback may be used to improve the project without identifying you or disclosing confidential information.
Suspension and account closure
You may stop using Specteron, cancel a subscription and use the account deletion function in the Security section. Some information may be retained where required for billing, legal obligations, security or claims.
We may suspend or close an account for a material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use or serious abuse. Measures should be proportionate to the risk. Where legally and operationally possible, we will provide notice.
Liability and warranties
Specteron is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that every feature will be error-free, meet every requirement or produce a particular commercial result.
You remain responsible for reviewing AI output, your data, bot configuration, legal notices and decisions made using the service. Liability is not excluded where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for intentional harm and mandatory consumer protections.
To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect loss, lost profit, lost opportunities or loss caused by unlawful or incorrect user content is excluded. Any other limitation will be interpreted only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.
Changes, governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by Polish law, without removing mandatory rights available under the law of a user’s country of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by applicable law; consumers may use any mandatory local forum.
We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical or product reasons. The current date will be shown above, and material changes will be communicated where required. Continued use after an effective update means acceptance only where legally valid.
Questions, complaints and legal notices may be sent to [email protected].
